Our Mission
We believe that our Creator is a powerful and mighty God, who also has a wonderful sense of humor! As devout Christians and sixth-generation Adventists, it is our sincere mission to bring enjoyment to our fellow believers while also demonstrating glory and honor to God through the humor that He has instilled within us.
Our intent is never to offend or degrade the Church, its fundamental teachings, leadership, or members. We seek to find enjoyment in the peculiar, non-doctrinal elements of our unique Adventist culture through humor that is tasteful and appropriate to a broad audience.
What, or who, is 1844?
1844 was created by a small group of Adventists (see, we just used the phrase small group - now do you believe us?).
Okay, so why 1844?
Why not? There's so much to love about our unique and rich culture. Our goal is to embrace that in a way that brings smiles to those in the know. We thought it'd be cool to wear a t-shirt that's a beacon to other Adventists but doesn't make you look like a dork.
Are there going to be more designs and products soon?
Absolutely! We're working on new stuff all the time. As you might imagine, there's no shortage of ideas.
Got a great idea for an Adventist Tee-Shirt or design?
We'd love to hear it! Go to the contact page and send us your ideas for SDA T-Shirts. At this point, we can't promise anything in return except perhaps some fame without the fortune.

What's an "AA Tee"?
The AA stands for American Apparrel - our preferred brand for T-shirts due to its stylish cut and material weight. It does tend to be more form-fitting. If you'd prefer a different style of T-shirt, just head into the Custom shop and build your own! You may even save a few bucks since the AA brand is slightly more expensive.
$22 for a T-Shirt?!
We know that most T-shirts in your fine local retail establishment are usually much less that $22 and we thank the many of you who have purchased from us. These T-shirts are made to order, and now, made specifically to your customization if you build it in our custom shop. The cost to custom-print shirts is much higher than bulk orders of traditionally screen-printed shirts. You can knock the cost down by choosing a cheaper T-shirt (see previous question) to print on in the custom builder.
